Exposure Composition Assignment

In this assignment we had to take five pictures of the same thing, only changing the exposer value. We started using EV -2 and went all the way up to EV 2+, what I noticed was the higher the EV the harder it was to get a well focused picture as well as noticing the obvious brightening and dimming the EV does to the scenes. The exposer value really showed us when we were letting to much light in and when we weren't letting in enough, in picture one and two of the plant in the window, you can't see any detail or even the color of the stem compared to picture three and four where you really start to see what the plant looks like and which direction it is in, but it all depends on how you as a photographer want your photographs to look like. I chose the plants with the sun beaming in behind them because I knew the shadowing and leafs would show the difference in the pictures well. I found the turtle was difficult to take a picture of because of the reflective water as well as the movement. Overall a very fun project, learned a lot of new things.

Newcomer to the World of Blogging

I like the idea having my own blog, sharing your thoughts and photos with people around the world able to relate or envy your work. I love to explore and figure out how to work new sites, I enjoy writing so I  can already tell that I will have a blast blogging. also, I am excited to read others blogs and learn about their life's and experiences. But I am nervous as well, I have never had a blog and I feel sometimes I may not know what to post about, or what people might be interested in. Over all I have mixed feeling about starting a blog, I hope I can start to really enjoy it!
